It's okay to miss out some opportunities. Here is my take on this!

Influenced by the world's great personalities, just like most of the people out there, I too have been a very ambitious being since childhood. Maybe that is why I used to grab every opportunity coming my way without thinking twice. I never questioned myself if that's what I really wanted.

After the entire day of daily hustle, one day, while on the terrace, gazing at the evening sun, I happened to think consciously about the purpose of this fast-running life of mine. And this ultimately made me stop for a while and look back at my life.

As humans, we have been hearing for a long time now: 'when the opportunity knocks, be ready to rock!', which is undoubtedly a good thing, but what we do not think is: is the opportunity knocking the one we have really wanted? Indeed, we never bother to ask ourselves if we are going after the crowd by following and grabbing every opportunity coming our way without giving conscious thought. If the opportunity knocking at the door doesn't serve for us to become the persons we really want to be, why do we open the door?

Also, we are greatly influenced by the quote: 'opportunity is like the sunrise, if we wait for too long, we may miss it.' Dear readers, wait and think, if the sunrise really fascinates you. Or is it the sunset that does?

Only if we realise the utmost purpose of our lives, will we come across the fact that not every opportunity that knocks our door is meant to be welcomed or embraced and it's completely okay to miss the sunrise if it doesn't embed the peace within us.

Now it's your turn to rethink and reprogram yourself in the way that will make you able to welcome only those opportunities that can contribute to your inside out growth and development; that incline with the purpose and goal of your life, and consequently make you the person you want to be.

Many thanks for reading! Good luck!
