Time

What made him open that bottle of poison? Did he not think about his family and loved ones before deciding to open it? What snatched that cheerful smile from his face? My brain flooded with series of questions the moment I saw him lying, unconscious, with the empty bottle of poison.

They were happily married. Just a week before they celebrated their 2nd marriage anniversary and on the same day they received the greatest news of their life; the one stating that they would become parents soon. But the very next day, a car was found in a river nearby with the husband's body inside it.

After years of savings he bought his dream bike. The smile on his face was worth capturing for a lifetime. He went for his dream ride. But he went so far that he never returned. What came back were his dead body and broken pieces of his dream bike.

With his entire month's salary he bought medicines for his old grandma. He was returning home happily. But the very next moment, devastating flood occurred that swept away all the life-saving medicines. Grandma was happy about her grandson bringing her medicines today, but when he arrived, she looked at his hand and took her last breathe.

Call it the phenomenal power of time or call it it's cruelty. But time can be ever so miserable sometimes. It's strange how a person smiling at a moment shifts into a whole new dimension the other moment. Everything can change right in front of our eyes.
